✵ I have an announcement to make! ✵
I mentioned it on some of positively b.e.e.'s social media last week, but it's time to announce it here, as well.
Mark your calendars, for positively b.e.e. is
going on the road to Tennessee!
going on the road to Tennessee!
That's right: I'm taking this blog on the road to appear at Gathering 2018: As I Speak Into These Hills. The event runs from June 29th ~ July 1st, and more details can be found out here.In the organizer's own words:
As we start the gearing up for Gathering 2018, We are so filled with joy at what this coming gathering will offer! Last year, as the year before was powerful and life changing! We are sure that this year's gathering will be everything we wish for!
For those who have never been this is not an event! It is a gathering... it is not fancy and is not always bound by time... it is a growing/learning/spiritual/healing/sharing/laughing time!
We have people who will speak of their journey and how they have grown to help you along your journey! We will have classes to stretch your mind and give you new understanding or at least ideas. We will walk the amazing healing creeks and search for healing stones. We will ground and feel the earth reset us as Yahweh made it to do. We will have healing session! We will have Bigfoot Investigations in the Mountains that will shake you up a tad. We will have a spirit walk to see if we can reach the other side. We will have Horse and Buggy Rides. We will have Food! We will have a Party! We will have so much more than this, yet words can't describe what happens here!
You see it isn't fancy! It isn't at a resort! It is in our backyard (literally) of our old cottage...but that is where Love grows and Flows!!! Gathering 2018 June 29,30&July1, Roan Mountain, Tn....more info and ticket sells now available!
Ok, so what does that all mean?
This is the 3rd year in a row that this Gathering has happened, and I went last year for the first time. I have literally been waiting ALL year for the next one. I can't wait! It was that amazing last year! It's more like a family reunion than an event.
Imagine brining your picnic blanket or a chair, spreading it out under a beautiful tree in someone's back yard, hearing the wind chimes tinkling in the trees on a gentle summer day, all while you learn and listen and connect with like-minded, spiritually-growing people. If this sounds good to you, read on.
Last year, I was a speaker and talked about unconditional love and learning to accept love for ourselves again. This year, my speech is entitled "Finding My Voice," and will do what it says on the tin. There will be other speakers sharing their journeys in an effort to inspire you to live your own journey fully.
Additionally, I will have a table showcasing items I've made with my own two hands! I will have handspun yarns, blankets, household items, and jewelry. There will be a VERY limited number of the bracelets that I designed specifically for this event. Once they're gone, they're gone!
Like the Facebook page to stay abreast of happenings in the event, and contact the organizer (Cat) on that page with any questions you may have. Tickets are $30 and includes all three days plus a nice dinner party at a local upscale restaurant in Banner Elk on Saturday night. (Any other costs, such as the horse/buggy ride, food/incidentals and lodging are your responsibility.)
My parents and I went last year and had such a blast, we couldn't wait to do it again! I highly recommend taking some time in the Roan Mountain State Park to relax and release all that pressure we build up day to day. Do some hiking, roll up your trousers and walk barefoot in the streams, go fishing—all of these are possible in the Roan Mountains! This is our new favorite vacation spot. The first thing I noticed when I arrived last year: you can truly, deeply BREATHE in those mountains.
Most of all, there is a sense of family and camaraderie that occurs at these gatherings. People connect deeply—with nature and with each other—which in itself is a very healing thing to happen.
I hope you'll join us!
